Realme C100 has been leaking for a while, but we didn’t expect to see the handset so soon. It was unveiled in the Thai market today. All the specs have been revealed. We also have the prices below. Realme may have spent six months developing this handset, but the phone is actually a downgrade over the older C85.

A few of the key specs they have been advertising make the Realme C100 look like a repackaged C85 with a different design. But it’s actually in a way worse position. They dropped the newcomer’s safety rating to IP64. Realme C85 4G and 5G devices both had IP69K ratings.

The former model had a punch hole and an 8MP selfie camera. The ugly U-notch is back on the screen with the Realme C100. And it’s now outfitted with a 5MP selfie sensor. Even the screen brightness is lower this time: only 900 nits HBM versus 1,200 nits on the C85.

The panel is still a 6.8” IPS LCD. They kept the 720p HD+ resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate. The bezels are slightly trimmed, if it’s any consolation. There’s one more item in the laundry list of downgrades. The design has taken a big hit. By the way, here you can check the Realme price catalog, featuring the latest 2026 models.

They stripped away the Ring RGB notification indicator from the C100, which will definitely turn some heads. And on top of that, the thickness has gone up from ~8.4mm to ~8.9mm. That number can’t be ignored if someone did upgrade from C85 to C100.

Dimensity 6300 and 50MP main camera have reappeared on the new handset. But the phone is now running Android 16 with Realme UI 7. That seems to be the only upgrade in the entire spec sheet. The fingerprint reader is on the side, and its single speaker can boost the audio to 300%.

A 7000mAh battery is also back with the Realme C100. And it has the same 45W backup. Reverse and bypass charging features are also added to the phone. The base price for the Realme C100 in the Thai market is ~$215 (~PKR 60,000) for the 4GB/128GB version. We suggest sticking to the C85 until something comes along.
