At the event where Xiaomi Pakistan unveiled the POCO X3 Pro, the flagship POCO F3 was also launched. It’s a rebrand of the Redmi K40, featuring high-end performance and visuals. Here’s what the POCO has to offer.

Save for the mildly redesigned back finish, the Xiaomi POCO F3 is essentially a Redmi K40, so there’s little to unpack if you’re familiar with the Redmi phone. We’re looking at a flat hole-punch display, surrounded by minimal bezels. It’s a 6.67” AMOLED screen that refreshes at 120Hz, peaks at 1300 nits of brightness, and supports HDR10+ content.

The rear shell is crafted from glass, sandwiched between an aluminum frame. It’s toughened with Gorilla Glass 5 on both sides. It’s a sleek build, 7.8mm in height and 196g in weight. You can pick from Arctic White, Night Black, and Ocean Blue shades.

POCO F3 features Dolby Atmos-certified dual speakers, an improved vibration motor, NFC, and a side-facing fingerprint scanner. But it lacks storage expansion or a 3.5mm headphone jack. The handset is now available carrying an aggressive Xiaomi mobile price tag.

Under its hood, the F3 has the Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 5G. It’s an overclocked version of 7nm Snapdragon 865+ from last year. And it runs on a 4520 mAh battery that delivers power over 33W. You get up to 256GB of next-gen UFS 3.1 storage and up to 8GB of LPDDR5 memory. The performance-intensive setup is kept cool using a multi-layered heat management system.

Lastly, the F3 uses a quad-camera: a 48MP f/1.8 lens, an 8MP wide-angle camera, and a 5MP macro lens. It comes in 6GB+128GB and 8GB+256GB, priced at Rs. 55,999 and Rs. 65,999, respectively. These are the early bird prices, and the phone will be available starting from the second week of April.
