After pushing the release once, Oppo is finally ready to introduce the Reno 4 series to the Pakistani audience. Oppo’s newest sub-flagship is slated for launch on September 10 at 8 pm. You can catch the virtual event live on either Facebook or YouTube and get a chance to win one of the Reno4 models.

Blending style with performance is the Reno4 Pro with its 3D ‘Borderless Sense’ display. It features trimmed bezels and a screen that itself wraps around the edges, creating a curved panel. It has a hole-punch cutout in the corner and reaches an FHD+ resolution at a smooth 90Hz refresh rate.

The Reno 4 Pro a 6.5” SuperAMOLED panel delivering an exceptional 92.01% screen ratio. The touch sampling rate has been upped to 180Hz and the entire display is covered in Corning Gorilla Glass 5 for added protection. Oppo has hidden the fingerprint scanner underneath it which unlocks your phone in only 0.34s.

At 7.7mm thick and 161g, the Oppo Reno4 Pro has a slim, featherweight profile. The minimalistic aesthetic is reflected on the back too which has a satin anti-glare finish, available in Starry Night and Silky White. The camera island is a rounded rectangle that blends in perfectly with the paint job. Inside it, four identical-sized cameras are lined on top of each other.

Oppo’s leading SuperVOOC 2.0 charging fully charges your Reno4 Pro in only 36 minutes and from a 5-minute charge you can get at least 4 hours of video playback. The battery life of Reno 4 Pro by Oppo can be further extended with the ‘Super Power Saving’ mode which can stretch the last 5% charge into 1.5 hours of battery life. This ‘best-in-class’ fast charging technology powers a 4,000 mAh battery.

Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 720G, 8GB of memory, and 128GB of storage make up the internal hardware, rounded off by ‘3D Multi-cooling’ — which is essentially graphite heat management. The camera system uses a standard 48MP main camera, a 2MP monochromatic lens, a 2MP macro sensor, and an 8MP ultrawide camera.

For the base edition, the front camera morphs into a pill-style cutout to house the dual front cameras. Oppo Reno 4 has a slightly smaller 6.4” OLED panel, except it operates on 60Hz.

The Reno4 has an identical camera setup, arranged differently, and will bear a slightly reduced price tag. There’s an additional 8MP ultra-wide camera on the front.

The internals are shared with the ‘Pro’ model as well, as is the design but comes in more expressive Galactic Blue and Space Black colorways. You can pre-order either Reno 4 model via Oppo Pakistan’s website.
