They’ve planned the Oppo Find X10 series launch on October 21st. We’ll be looking forward to the Oppo Reno 17 series after that, which is expected to hit the stage by November. It’s no secret that they’ve been working on the new Reno phones, and while they haven’t really said a word about their progress, the rumor mill has already given us camera details and a live photo.
The leakers may not know which device this is, but they’ve still managed to find a live photo of a Reno 17 sibling. We’d wager that it’s the vanilla Reno 17. But it could also be one of the Pro versions. Anyway, we get a hands-on real preview of said device.
The backplate is barebones once again, and the whole design hinges on the camera island. There are three lenses on the back: two enclosed, one independent. The platform is raised, and there’s a flash on it. We see antenna rings on the frame. That’s another helpful clue.
The frame itself has the same corner radius as iPhones. And it’s built out of metal too. This picture is from Smartprix, and they also report the battery size. Whatever model is shown in the photo is also supposed to get a 7000mAh battery, bigger than the Reno 16’s 6700mAh cell. In this article you can find pricing information for Oppo's smartphone range in Pakistan by visiting the Oppo Price Catalog.
We heard a rumor that the series might launch without a Reno 17 Pro model this time, so that leaves us with either the basic Reno 17 or the Reno 17 Pro Max. Another tip from the internet (source: SmartPikachu) gave us some information about the Reno 17.
There are phones in the series with both small and large screens, and we’ll have AI buttons on each of them. They will launch next month. The screenshot of the leaker’s Weibo post is included in our post, and you can always backtrack it to the source.
They’ll put a 200MP camera on the series, and that’s going to become its specialty, the main selling point. And it’s supposed to get live video streaming tools and photo editing features as well. All of this is built into the Color OS 17 Android 17 default system on the Reno 17. Keep watching the news for more updates.
