Oppo wrapped up the Chinese launch of its Reno 14 series in May, and it’s still drawing up plans to make the lineup widely available. A leaker reveals that the company is simultaneously working on the sequel, the Reno 15 family, which could debut by November 2025.

The news came from Smart Pikachu, who found some key details and the launch date for the Reno 15 series. The info is now floating on Weibo, if you need to check it out. Within the leak, the tipster claims the Reno 14 series will be replaced in the second half of this year.

Oppo’s Reno 15 series (tentative name) seems to be scheduled for November 2025, according to Smart Pikachu. There are two potential devices in the lineup in your usual Pro and non-Pro categories. They both have large batteries and some camera upgrades.

The color reproduction on the phone’s camera is also heavily optimized with newer sensors. We found one of the latest Oppo Reno mobiles in a previous leak by Digital Chat Station that pretty much confirmed a 200MP camera is headed for the Pro model. The phone could overhaul its entire camera rig.

The rumor mill believes the Reno 15’s camera tech is borrowed from the company’s flagship Oppo Find X8 series. And if that’s the case, the color accuracy and image quality on the new lineup will be phenomenal. Also, like its past generation, we’ll be seeing telephoto periscope sensors on both the Pro and non-Pro models.

Smart Pikachu also let slip the screen sizes of both phones. One of them is a compact design, by the way, with only a 6.3” display and possibly a 120Hz refresh rate. The Pro model is your typical 6.78” build, and each device is coming with an identical set of display features.

Of course, if these phones launch in November, there’s a high possibility of Android 16 OS running by default on the Reno 15 and 15 Pro. However, those aren’t the first Oppo devices to bring the stable Color OS 16 firmware. Oppo might actually honor the Find X9 series with it, which should launch later this year in September or October. Stick around to find out more as these devices continue to pop up in stories and leaks ahead of their debut.
