Oppo Reno 15 series may be right around the corner, probably arriving by the end of 2025. And just to be clear, the company hasn’t teased any of its details yet. The rumor mill has been poking around, though, and several reports have confirmed there are at least three devices in the mix: Oppo Reno 15, 15 Pro, and 15 Pro Max. The latter just got leaked by Digital Chat Station.
Digital Chat Station had plenty of details to share regarding the Reno 15 Pro Max, but we assume the phone’s 200MP main camera will be of the most interest to fans. And yes, that’s the same famous 200MP Samsung HP5 outsole that every other brand is snatching up for its devices.
The photography will be top-notch on this handset, not just from the 200MP main camera but also from the ultrawide 50MP JN5 and 50MP periscope telephoto shooter. By the way, the last two sensors aren’t getting any upgrades. They are just the same as last year’s Reno 14 Pro. We assume the 50MP selfie shooter isn’t changing either.
DCS also mentioned its display, and the specs are definitely “Pro Max” worthy. This newcomer is built around a 6.78” LTPO AMOLED. And by LTPO, the leaker means variable refresh rate that clocks down dynamically to save energy. As usual, Oppo is going for a 1.5K resolution and a completely flat frame on the latest Oppo Reno mobile.
The bezels will have perfect symmetry, and there’s going to be a wireless charging coil within the phone’s thin metal frames. The leaker was hesitant to talk about the newcomer’s processor, so he didn’t reveal its name. The post does say everything else is good except the processor.
The SoC on this phone may disappoint if we believe in DCS’s claims, but let’s just wait for confirmation before passing any judgment here. The last bit of news is that Oppo Reno 15 and 15 Pro will have 6.59” and 6.31” displays (not necessarily in that order).
The battery stats weren’t given in DCS’s Weibo post. Earlier leaks, however, stated at least a 6500mAh cell on this Pro Max model, which has become the norm on Chinese phones these days. Again, all these details need an official verification. Hopefully, the company will start teasing the series soon, and we’ll have more specs to share. Keep watching the news.
