OPPO K3 Launched with 16MP pop-up selfie camera, in-display fingerprint reader and Snapdragon 710

Oppo has finally launched its latest smartphone, the Oppo K3. A mid-to-upper segment handset of the Oppo was introduced in a press event today. Apart from the Pop-Up selfie camera, the Oppo K3 offers an almost bezel-less design with full-view display and a very high screen to body ratio.


The cellphone seems to integrate the F11 Pro camera system with a Reno flavored design and has an in-screen biometric reader instead of placing it on the back. Equipped with a 6.5-inch Full HD+ AMOLED screen without a notch, the screen to body ratio reaches an epic 91.1%.

Apart from having a similar design to Oppo Reno and an in-display fingerprint sensor, the handset is entrusted by a Snapdragon 710 processor from Qualcomm's mid-segment. Offering a capacity of 6 GB for the base model and 8 GB for the top model, the Oppo K3 also offers internal storage up to 256 GB. Dual cameras of 16MP + 2MP are installed on the back while the Pop-Up selfie shooter is said to be a 16 MP. The prices are said to be as follows: 


  1. RAM 6 GB / ROM 64 GB 1,599 yuan or 35,000 PKR 
  2. RAM 8 GB / ROM 128 GB 1,899 yuan or 41,700 PKR 
  3. RAM 6 GB / ROM 256 GB 2,299 yuan or 50,500 PKR

Prices mentioned above in Pakistani rupees do not include taxes. Oppo K3 packs a 3765 mAh capacity battery equipped with VOOC 3.0 fast charging. Other features included a  Dual 4G VoLTE connection, WiFi, Bluetooth 5, USB Type C and 35 mm audio jack. There are three color choices, namely purple nebula, green and white. Oppo K3 is going to be available in China in early June.
