A fresh leak reveals that Oppo’s has two yet-to-be-announced smartphones in the works, and WhatMobile has got the scoop. The two models, dubbed Oppo A91 and Oppo A8, appear in a poster, alongside a handful of their specifications. The already-announced Oppo Reno 3 duo also makes an appearance on the promo poster, confirming the spec details and design.

The Reno 3 series is scheduled for launch on the day after Christmas and that’s probably where the Oppo A8 and Oppo A91 will be making their debut – at least that’s what you’d surmise from the promotional poster.

OPPO A8

The Oppo A8 is a successor to last year’s A7 and it has already been sighted on TENNA’s certification. As per the promo, the phone will pack a 6.5-inch LCD display (maxing out at HD+) that sports a water-drop notch and a triple-camera setup.

The poster further tells us that the triple-camera system will feature a 12-megapixel primary shooter. The main lens brings an 8-megapixel wide-angle, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor in tow.

The chipset remains unidentified, but it will be rounded off by 4 GB RAM and 128 GB of native storage. The hardware will be backed by a 4,250 mAH battery with VOOC 3.0 fast-charging. TENNA listing confirms that the phone runs on Android P, which means that you’re looking a Color OS 6 UI, not Color OS 7.

OPPO A91

The spec sheet suggests that the smartphone will be an iterative upgrade from A7, but still a mid-ranger. The Oppo 91 seems to follow the same vein, with its 48-megapixel quad-camera and an 8 GB +128 GB memory configuration.

The A91 seems to borrow the 8-megapixel wide-angle-lens from A8. But it offers a pair of 2-megapixel shooters, likely to be macro and portrait sensors. The battery on the A91 features a smaller capacity: 3,935 mAh, combined with the same 20W fast-charging.

A91 and A8 tout water-drop notches, so as opposed to what many enthusiasts claim, the notch probably isn’t dead just yet. There is no word yet on the launch dates or the Oppo price tags but its the poster does seem to hint the handsets to be launching alongside the new Reno 3 Series.
