Oppo A6s Pro began retail in the local market today. The phone is officially listed on Oppo’s e-store in Pakistan. The link can be found on the local site under their New Products category. The launch coincided with Vivo Y31d’s arrival in Pakistan today. This is what you need to know about the Oppo A6s Pro.

Their new ColorOS 16 has been optimized for the smoothest app switching experience within the range. You can glide through the apps, and WhatMobile itself tested it to verify their claims. It’s true; you’ll feel no lag when rapidly switching apps, just like iPhones.

No, it does not have a flagship chip to achieve this kind of fluidity in the UI. It has something to do with the OS rendering engine, which is so efficiently optimized that Oppo A6s Pro’s Helio G100 Max chip can handle it without sweat. Again, that’s something not every entry-level device can do. Here are the current Oppo smartphone prices of the latest models, primarily in the Pakistani market.

There are other nice features on the A6s Pro beyond just buttery app navigation. This newcomer has an AMOLED. It’s a 6.57” panel at 1080p FHD+ resolution. The phone hits 100% on the sRGB and DCI-P3 color gamut scales. And it has a 120Hz motion rate. By the way, the AMOLED has 1400nits HBM rating.

The fingerprint is obviously on the screen, and so is a 50MP selfie camera in the cropped punch hole. There’s also a 50MP rear camera and a 2MP monochrome used for depth mapping. That basically means it has one normal photo mode. They do offer a lot of AI features for the images you click.

Oppo A6s Pro has also passed an IP69K rating. So it’s fully waterproof. They added underwater photography to the camera tools with dual-video mode. The camera can’t push past 1080p recording, though. The newcomer has only one 8/256GB memory trim.

There’s a big battery inside. Oppo A6s Pro is built around a 7,000 mAh Si/C cell. It can push 80W wired charging and 5W reverse wired input. The newcomer is also MIL-STD-810H compliant. Its design is shockproof. Their official Pakistani cost for the Oppo A6s Pro is Rs 99,999.
