OPPO A57s Specs And Render Previews Leaked; Helio G35 and 50MP Camera in Tow

OPPO's year-long cycle of budget releases continues with their latest edition OPPO A57s. It's essentially a rehashed OPPO A57 5G, with the processor switched, cam-sensor enlarged, and some corner cutting here and there. Here's an overview of its rumored specs and renders floating around the web.

Being the 4G variant, the processor on A57s switched to Mediatek's Helio G35 — an old-gen low-performing CPU with 12nm fabrication and 2.3 GHz max clocking frequency. the New OPPO A96 sibling hooks up to a 5000mAh cell tailored with 33W Fast charging support.

The display rounds up to a 6.5-inch view sitting on an IPS LCD. The screen's resolution will peak at a mediocre 720p resolution (1612 x 720 pixels) and can only deliver a 60Hz screen refresh. The camera housing notch bleeds into the display.

OPPO A57s expected markup stands just under 200$, and the brand is trying to justify it with its improved camera layout. You'll see two large sensors, one of which is 50MP primary while the other is a decorative 2MP lens. Both sit inside a rectangular protrusion.

You can expect the new OPPO A mobile to drop with 4GB memory and an underscoring 128GB storage eMMC 5.1 based speed — a standard from 2019. Save for some internals: the OPPO A57 mimics A57 5G everywhere, even in the design. A slab with flat edges and matte texture on the rear plate to ward off the smudges. And font with bleak + uniform bezels.

All specs round up to a mediocre-performing device. You will enter Android 12-based ColorOS 12.1 from the get-go. It's managed to secure some great features like Bluetooth 5.3, a 3.5mm audio port, and stereo speakers, not to mention a side-facing fingerprint scanner. Official sources have yet to confirm the price and launch date, so stay tuned for more developments.
