Oppo has yet to make a formal announcement, but the Oppo A52 has quietly gone official in Pakistan. The phone is listed on Oppo Pakistan’s website and is now available in the local market. Here’s a complete rundown along with the pricing details of the new Oppo handset.
A52 by Oppo is your cookie-cutter mid-range model – both in terms of design and build. It features a punched display in the front and an L-shaped quad-camera on the back.
The front panel or as Oppo likes to call it, the 1080P Neo-Display, measures 6.5” and delivers an FHD+ resolution and a 90.5% screen-to-body ratio. The bezels are minimal all around, except for the chin, which seems heavier the rest.
Inspired by the polar landscape, the rear-facing panel features light streak patterns originating from under the camera housing. Oppo A52 design is sharper and more pronounced in the Twilight Black edition, while the Stream White is subtle, painted in a glacial green shade. A side-mounted thumbprint reader is also positioned on the frame, which doubles as the power button.
The quad-camera array features a large f/1.8 aperture 12MP camera, an 8MP 119⁰ super-wide camera, and a pair of 2MP portrait sensors. It’s AI-powered and allows you to shoot steady videos in 4K thanks to its ‘Anti-Shake’ feature. For improved low-light shots, you can turn on the ‘Ultra Clear Night Mode 2.0’. The front-facing camera uses a 16MP sensor and Oppo’s ‘AI Beautification’ to produce impressive selfies, even in challenging light conditions.
A Snapdragon 665 processor and its Adreno 610 GPU handle processing – rounded off by a 5,000 mAh battery (powered up with 18W fast charging). The overall performance can be enhanced further with the ‘Hyper Boost’ mode. The Oppo A52 is equipped with 128GB ROM/4GB RAM and the latest ColorOS 7.1, based on Android 10.
As far as the price and availability are concerned, the Oppo A52 will set you back Rs. 35,000 and is now available at the authorized retail outlets nationwide.
