Oppo A38 Performance Test on Geekbench; Chipset Revealed with RAM Configuration

In a series of exciting developments, the upcoming Oppo A38 is making headlines left and right as its launch date approaches. Following its recent certifications from TDRA, SIRIM, NBTC, and GCF, the device has now appeared on the prominent Geekbench benchmarking platform, revealing insights into its features.


Listed under the model number CPH2579, consistent with other certification platforms, the Geekbench entry unveils crucial details about the A38's hardware. The device will be equipped with the MediaTek Helio G85 processor, boasting a mix of six cores clocked at 1.80GHz and two more potent cores ticking at 2GHz. 

The accompanying 4GB of RAM, though likely to come in multiple options at launch, ensures smooth multitasking and performance. Running on the latest Android 13 OS, the A38 aims to provide an up-to-date user experience right out of the box.


Geekbench results showcase the device's prowess, with 431 and 1,340 points in single-core and multi-core tests, respectively. While these numbers provide a glimpse into the latest Oppo budget mobile's performance, anticipation is mounting due to its numerous certifications, suggesting an imminent launch.


Recent leaks have unveiled further specifications, heightening the excitement. The A38 is poised to sport a 6.3-inch HD+ display featuring a delightful 90Hz refresh rate. It will also bear a pill-shaped camera module on the device's rear with a 50MP primary sensor and a 2MP secondary lens. 

A robust 5,000mAh battery will deliver power to the smartphone, ensuring extended usage. With 128GB of onboard storage, the Oppo A38 will offer ample space for media and apps. At the leaked pricing of EUR 159 (~PKR 52,500), users will find the device in Black and Golden hues.
