Feast your eyes on Oppo's newest marvel — the Oppo A2 Pro. Unveiled yesterday in China, the A-series mid-ranger flexes a 6.7-inch FHD+ AMOLED screen, graced with a snappy 120Hz refresh rate. It draws power from MediaTek's Dimensity 7050 chipset, a high-end 5G-enabled chipset.

Oppo is not just serving up state-of-the-art tech; the company also promises unprecedented battery longevity. Engineered to endure, the A2 Pro's battery has a 5000mAh capacity, and according to Oppo's rigorous testing, after a whopping 1,000 charge cycles, the battery still retains 88% of its original health.

If the battery's health dips below 80% within the first four years, Oppo’s throwing in a free battery replacement. The A2 Pro backs a 64MP primary sensor with f/1.7 aperture and a secondary 2MP depth sensor ideal for vivid snapshots.

As for the operating system, the Oppo new A model has ColorOS 13.1 atop Android 13. It throws in some nice extras like IP54 water, dust resistance, and an in-display fingerprint scanner.

The A2 Pro revs a Dimensity 7050 chipset under the hood integrated with up to 12GB RAM and 512GB of UFS 3.1 storage. Charging the behemoth battery is a 67W wired system backed by a proprietary battery health engine to safeguard against overheating and overcharging.

Let’s not forget about design! The pocket-sized handset comes in Black, Desert Brown (think vegan leather), and ethereal Twilight hues. Starting at CNY 1,799 (~$248/PKR 73,500) for the 8/128GB model, prices transcend to CNY 2,399 (~$330/PKR 98,000) for the 12/512GB version. Sales kick off in China on September 22.
