Oppo A2 5G Emerges on TENAA with Key Specs and Images; Have a Look

With recent releases like the Oppo A2 Pro 5G and Oppo A2x 5G under their belt, the company plans to expand the roster by introducing Oppo A2m and Oppo A2 5G. The latter, identified by the model code PJB110, has made a cameo on TENAA’s certification platform in China. Here's a closer look at what the A2 5G has in store.


In an exciting development, it seems the company intends to launch the mid-range Oppo A2 5G in the Chinese Market soon. TENAA’s document, making the device official, has several hints about the expected features.

In terms of dimensions, the Oppo A2 5G measures 165.6 x 76 x 7.9mm, boasting a weight of 193 grams. The device will feature a spacious 6.72-inch FHD+ LCD panel, possibly supporting a fluid 90Hz or 120Hz refresh rate for an enhanced user experience.


On the imaging front, the Oppo 5G new model will bear an 8-megapixel front-facing camera. Meanwhile, its rear camera setup comprises a 50-megapixel primary camera complemented by a 2-megapixel depth sensor, promising quality photography. Under the hood, the Oppo A2 5G packs a robust 2.2GHz octa-core processor, ensuring smooth performance. Buyers will have the flexibility to choose between two RAM configurations, 8GB or 12GB, catering to different usage needs.


Storage options are abundant, with variants offering 128GB, 256GB, and even 512GB of storage space. Powering the device is a substantial 5,000mAh battery, although details about its fast-charging capabilities remain undisclosed. 

Software-wise, the phone runs on the latest Android 13, featuring Oppo's custom ColorOS 13 interface. While an official announcement is still pending, industry insiders anticipate the Oppo A2 5G's debut to align with China's Double Eleven shopping festival on November 11.
