Infinix Zero 8 — a popular budget phone from last year — got a price cut in Pakistan. It was already very aggressively priced, and the discount adds to Zero 8’s value. We’re gonna take a look at it.

Infinix Zero 8 8GB+128GB edition was previously retailing for Rs. 39,999; after a Rs. 3000 discount, it’s now available for Rs. 36,999. For that price, Infinix is offering you the MediaTek Helio G90T, 8GB of memory, and 128GB of storage (expandable up to 2 terabytes.) The price for the Infinix Zero 8i, however, remains unchanged.

The setup is backed up by a 4500 mAh battery that fast charges over 33W. For better heat management, there’s a multi-layered cooling structure embedded into the Zero 8. Android10, with XOS 7 skin on top, runs on the phone out of the box.

The Zero 8 display is an oversized 6.85” LCD that produces a full HD resolution, a smooth 90Hz refresh rate, and a responsive 180Hz touch sampling rate. It has a wide pill-box hole punched into its corner to house the dual selfie camera — 48MP standard wide and 8MP ultra-wide. No other changes were observed to the Infinix price list.

The rear camera array uses a 64MP wide and an 8MP ultra-wide lens, joined by two 2MP depth sensors. The wide-angle camera also doubles as a macro lens. The software onboard the Infinix Zero 8 supports night mode, eye-tracking, and electronic image stabilization.

In addition to the MicroSD slot for storage expansion, the build also includes a side-facing fingerprint scanner and a 3.5mm headphone jack. The Zero 8 has a flashy, gem-cut design that comes in mint, black, and silver editions.
