Infinix Zero 5G 2023, the brand's reiterated model (extended from their first-ever 5G Infinix mobile), is currently out for retail globally. An industry-bound source reports that the phone will debut in Pakistan in the first quarter of the new year. The launch timeline and pricing details are still under wraps, but its stats are no secret. Here's everything you should expect from this phone.

Design-wise, the phone has a lot going for it. The integral component on its shell, the camera setup, sits on a protrusion that melts into zero 5G's backplate. The phone ships in three finishes advertised as Pearly White, Coral Orange, and Submarine Black, each complementing its design. The model, in most surface elements, looks identical to its successor.

Flip the Zero 5G 2023 around to find a 6.78-inch IPS unit with an FHD+ panel, 120Hz refresh rate, 240Hz touch sampling rate, and ~84% screen-to-body ratio. The design has changed on the back to have three equal-sized camera cutouts with only one LED flash. It has a punch-hole front as a selfie cam holder.

The setup on the latest Infinix Zero mobile includes an alpha 50MP sensor (upgraded from 48MP) and two auxiliary sensors with limited resolution at 2MP. The telephoto lens from the successor zero 5G didn't make it to the phone. Instead, there's an additional macro unit on board. Zero 5G 2023 uses Infinix's AI to take super night shots.

Zero 5G 2023 now boasts a new Dimensity 1080 5G chipset (produced on TSMC's 6nm node) as well as 256GB of storage and 8GB of RAM. You get an additional 5GB of memory on the phone extended from its storage space. It runs XOS 12, based on Android 12, and has a 5000mAh battery that supports fast charging at 33W. The phone launched on December 1st at the starting price of 239$ (~54,000 PKR). The cost will increase with taxes on its arrival, positioning it well above the Infinix Zero 20's current price in Pakistan.
