Infinix Smart 20 recently made a cameo in the Google Play Console database, but it revealed limited details about the phone's specifications. Only a few days have passed since. Now, an unofficial retailer listing is going viral that seems to confirm most of Infinix Smart 20’s specs, with a potential price tag.
Lazada’s famous online store in the Philippines is where we found the premature listing for the Infinix Smart 20. The graphics and tabloids may look official, but the product page is definitely not from the brand, as it contains several typos in the description. At least we were able to scrape a few specs off the site.
The Infinix latest Smart mobile has two options. There’s a 4GB trim with 64GB ROM. And then there’s another with the same RAM but 128GB of storage. The starter price was shockingly low (translated from the local currency). Apparently, the 4/64GB trim costs ~$77 (~PKR 21,500).
The one with 128GB storage is roughly $100 (~PKR 28,000), which is still not too shabby. Anyway, the phone’s hardware is mostly sub-entry-level. That budget price will only get you a Helio G81 Ultimate SoC with limited 4G LTE connectivity and a Mali G52 iGPU.
The screen seems to be a 6.78” IPS panel with HD+ resolution. The 720p pixels are pushed around at a 120Hz refresh rate, which the SoC can handle without much strain. They advertise something called Voiceprint Noise Reduction. That’s Infinix’s version of voice isolation, just like Samsung’s.
This newcomer is only 7.7mm thin. The Smart 10 was 8.3mm. That is a huge difference. The battery capacity has gone up on the Smart 20, while the thickness has been lowered. It’s now a 5,200 mAh battery pack with the same 15W wired charging support as before.
They got an IP64 rating for this newcomer and 1.5m drop safety. There’s UltraLink Free Offline Contact (up to 1km). The phone even has an NFC chip, which can be used for cross-system sharing and Touch Transfer. We wait for the Smart 20’s official launch to confirm the rest of its specs. Keep watching the news for more.
