Infinix Smart 20 Arrives in Pakistan with 5200mAh Battery, IR Blaster & Helio G81 Chip

It took Infinix a while to unveil the Smart 20 in Pakistan, but it has finally arrived, and we can talk about price and storage options now. Two variants were deployed in our market, by the way. Everything about this device is covered in this brief overview, and we’ve added the price at the bottom for potential buyers.

The screen is a high point for it. There’s a simple 6.78” IPS LCD on the front. And the brightness level hits close to 700 nits. This is good enough for daylight readability. Though the screen will sometimes feel dim on extra sunny days. This is also a 120Hz 720p screen.

We know that the visuals are soft, but that’s nothing to complain about, given the Smart 20’s price. By the way, this newcomer is built around a Helio G81 Ultimate chip. So it doesn’t have a lot of horsepower to deal with heavier tasks. This 12nm 2.0GHz silicon is definitely made for light usage.

Infinix Smart 20 comes with 4GB RAM in both variants. The storage for the base trim is 64GB only. You can pay extra to get that upgraded to 128GB. Those are both eMMC 5.1 modules. There’s Android 16 XOS 16 built into it by default.

An SD card add-on will buy you a little more storage for files. The phone does support external memory cards. Although we hardly think you’ll need much room for photos or videos taken from its single 8MP main shooter. The older Smart 10 series had the same sensor.

There is one upside to this. Smart 20 somehow manages to record 2K 30 FPS videos. Other phones with the same hardware barely manage 1080p 30 FPS. There’s a selfie punch hole on the screen, where another 8MP sensor is installed. The bottom line is that the camera will be serviceable, if not impressive.

Only a single speaker fires audio from the bottom. IP64 rating is there, you have a fingerprint ID, and the infrared remote makes life a bit more convenient. A 5200 mAh battery will run everything inside the Smart 20. But beware of the slow 15W input. The unit with 4/64GB memory will cost you Rs 30,999. Smart 20 (4/128GB) trim jumps to Rs 34,999.
