Infinix Note Edge Clears FCC Certification, Reveals Color Option & Storage

Infinix spans more than just Asian and African markets. They’ve lately begun supplying smartphones to Europe and the USA. Their Note 60 lineup, which also seems to include a device named Infinix Note Edge, has been cleared for a launch in the US market by the FCC.

You can see the model code in their documentation, and the IMEI sticker that’s slapped on the back of the Infinix Note Edge. We recognize this X6887 model number from the phone’s Google Play Console listing. The design blueprint from the FCC files has leaked before.

All the details we gave you above prove that this is the latest Infinix Note mobile everyone has been raving about. Anyway, FCC didn’t have much to expose about the phone except that its storage is 256GB and the RAM is 8GB, which is the bare minimum these days.

This is also a 5G phone, and the FCC has given all the bands it operates on. There’s only WiFi 5 on this handset, and probably some Bluetooth v5.X module exists right beside it. Of course, there are some other wireless connectivity features. FM and GPS are among them.

It’s not immediately noticeable, but the IMEI sticker has Titanium Grey mentioned on it. That’s probably one of the colors. This Note Edge has a 6500mAh battery, by the way. This was reported on a leak, although no charging details have appeared anywhere.

The leak also said that this Note phone will bring a 3D curved AMOLED. That’s probably why it’s called Edge. That’s a 1.5K AMOLED screen, which means the content will pop. It’s not the area where Infinix usually puts effort, but there might be some good news on the update situation.

The Note Edge will grab at least three years of OS support after the launch. And the plans extend to five years for security patches. Google Play Console has already confirmed that it has the Dimensity 7100 5G chip. That’s probably the reason they could stretch the OS updates to three years. We usually don't see such 5G Infinix phones in Pakistan, but let's wait and see if anything changes this time.
