Infinix Note 60 Pro & Note 60 Unveiled; Active Matrix Display, Snapdragon Chip, and More

The Note 60 series has two devices, and both made an official debut today. The one with the dot LED Matrix Display and a Snapdragon chip is the Note 60 Pro. The other one has a simple breathing Dynamic Light on the camera island and a Dimensity chipset. Here’s everything you’ll find on each device.

Infinix Note 60 Pro

Between the two, this version sets the tone for the whole series. First off, this device has a design that almost looks like the iPhone 17 Pro, and it might even fool some people from a distance. The camera island has a neat trick, exclusive to Note 60 Pro.

The newcomer uses an Active Matrix Display on the back. It works almost like the Dot Glyph Interface on the Nothing iPhone 3, so you already know what to expect from it. You can display text and play mini games here. And the scrolling emojis or pixel pets can be used for personalized notifications.

The screen on the Note 60 Pro is actually a 6.78” OLED with a 144Hz refresh rate. It seems to have a standard 1080p resolution. It’s sharp enough even though it is not 1.5K, and the brightness hits 4,500 nits (local peak) with PWM dimming for eye safety. Gorilla Glass 7i keeps it from damage.

The body is made of metal, if it wasn’t obvious just from the looks. This may be the first global Note phone from Infinix to have a Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 chip, and that platform is a powerhouse. There’s 12GB RAM inside. A 3D IceCore vapor chamber (4,758mm²) keeps it cool under load.

This Note 60 Pro handset has a 6,500mAh battery, by the way. And there’s 90W wired and 30W wireless backup for it. Those cameras on the rearside are 50MP (prime) and 8MP (ultrawide). An IR blaster and an IP64 rating round out the setup on the Note 60 Pro.

Infinix Note 60

It’s the same device as the Pro version, sans the rear display and 90W charging. The Note 60 apparently uses the same FHD+ 6.78” OLED with a 144Hz refresh rate. Its local peak brightness range is 4,500 nits, and Gorilla Glass 7i keeps it safe. The front shooter on each phone is 13MP.

There’s obviously a different chip here. The Note 60 is based on the Dimensity 7400 platform and 8GB RAM. The storage is limited to 256GB, though it has the same Android 16 and XOS 16 software. Infinix could drop three OS updates on these phones down the line.

Infinix Note 60 contains the same 6,500 mAh battery. The charging is half as fast at 45W, but at least it keeps the same 30W wireless input. The rear cameras are also identical. 3D IceCore vapor chamber keeps the chipset cool. The active Halo RGB LED light rests on the back.

By the way, both Note 60 phones have One-Tap AI buttons on the side and optical fingerprint readers on the screen. The Audio is output through dual speakers. The basic Note 60 uses an IR blaster and scores an IP64 rating, similar to the Pro version. Their pricing and availability remain under wraps for now. Keep watching the news.
