The launch date has been confirmed for the Xiaomi Redmi Note 17 Pro Max. We are talking about an international debut here. Other phones in the series will be revealed alongside it. But for now, they’ve only put a dedicated listing for the Redmi Note 17 Pro Max on their global site.

This newcomer will debut on 27th August. Again, it won’t be alone. There will be more devices. By the way, there’s no battery cut for the Redmi Note 17 Pro Max (global). The page clearly has the figure 10,000mAh. It’s right there at the top of the listing, in fact.
A 100W fast charging kit is put inside the Pro Max to refill that 10,000mAh tank. TÜV SÜD gave this handset a five-star rating for drop resistance and water safety. The page says it has up to IP69K certification, so it’s safe from boiling pressurized water jets.
Xiaomi latest Redmi mobile will also survive vertical drops from 3 meters onto concrete. The page also showed what chipset they’ve used on the Redmi Note 17 Pro Max. They’ve gone with a Snapdragon 6 Gen 5 chip and 12GB RAM. It’s a midrange device by performance metrics.

This newcomer is built around a 6.83” AMOLED. They say it’s a CrystalRes 1.5K panel, which is usually better than an FHD+ display. They’ve put a 50MP main camera on the Pro Max as well, and a photo sample was given on the page at 26mm and f/1.5 aperture.
Some reports predict a 32MP selfie camera on the screen, and there’s possibly a second lens on the back, where they put an 8MP ultrawide shooter. This is just the beginning, though. The page will be updated with more specs, and we’ll keep an eye on it. Keep watching the news for more.
