The Infinix Note 60 series will bring an exciting change to the usual pace. The Nigerian market just confirmed that the Note 60 Pro is built around a Qualcomm chip this time. And it may be the same case for Note 60 Ultra. But the vanilla Infinix Note 60 will stick to the MediaTek platform, according to Geekbench.

Yes, the Note 60 has just been tested on Geekbench for the single and multicore benchmarks. And we learned that the SoC running this device is actually the Dimensity 7400. It makes this newcomer 5G-ready, just like the others.

This chip is actually an octacore 2.6GHz processor with midrange Mali G615 MP2 iGPU. The average AnTuTu score coming from this SoC is usually in the 700K+ range, which is decent. And certainly a big jump from the typical Helio chipsets.

That processor is wired to 8GB RAM on the Infinix latest Note mobile in the Geekbench test. There might be more memory trims. The scores it produced with this chip are 1,055 (single-core) and 3,097 (multicore). These results are actually higher than average for the Dimensity 7400. We assume it’s because of the cooling system on the Note 60.

Anyway, there’s definitely Android 16 software running on this device, and the skin will be the company’s custom XOS 16. The System Information category on the Geekbench scoreboard confirmed this fact again. “X6879” is the model code for Infinix Note 60 (via SDPPPI certification).

We found Note 60 and 60 Pro in TUV Rheinland’s database, where the battery stats were noted for both these newcomers. There are two battery configurations for each device, and we assume they’ll vary by region. The Note 60 showed up with 5,990 mAh or 6,340 mAh cells.

Google Play Console also had some of Note 60’s specs in its database. It mentioned a Dimensity chip and 1.5K screen resolution. Up to 45W battery charging is supported here, and the device runs Android 16 by default. The Note 60 series will have a global launch soon, so stick around for updates.
