Infinix Note 60 Series Introduced with Built-in “Satellite Calling” Beyond Emergencies

Infinix surprised everyone at CES 2026 with its own version of satellite connectivity for the Note 60 series. Other companies have only used that technology in the context of emergency service, but Transsion Holdings had something better in mind. Infinix may not be a household name in the industry yet, but this Satellite Anywhere feature will definitely put this company on the map now.

The Note 60 lineup unveiled at CES, which we assume has a Note 60 Pro and Note 60 Ultra, can do Global Satellite Calling. That is madly impressive on paper. And they say it’s a feature for everyone, not just a novelty add-on for emergency calling.

Android Headlines has been covering a lot of CES announcements, and they’ve reported that this satellite connectivity covers around two-thirds of the Earth’s surface. Plus, you don’t need to register for anything, since this feature works out of the box on the latest Infinix Note mobiles

This could potentially mean that the satellite feature will work almost everywhere in the world. They say the transmission speeds will be limited to 4 Kbps, though the company has optimized this system for HD calls and two-way SMS. These newcomers will switch between roaming and satellite mode on their own when you enter an area of no coverage.

That’s far from the only thing Infinix bragged about at CES. They also had an active liquid cooling system to reveal, which they’ll put on the gaming phones later. They call it the HydoFlow Liquid Cooling System, and it’s just as cool as it sounds. There are dual piezoelectric pumps with very slim fins vibrating at 25000 times a second, and this system can push 6.5 ml of coolant per minute.

There’s also a new gaming accessory they’ve designed. Infinix says it’s the first Split Controller for phones. A pressure-sensitive touchpad is mounted on it that has very low latency. It even has a wireless magnetic trigger with mouse-grade microswitches.

Active Visual Backplate is something else they are about to introduce with the Infinix Note 60 series. Apparently, these newcomers are made with smart photochromic leather and thermochromic ink materials. Those will change color and display 3D effects with changing light and temperature, which is pretty cool.

Not only that, they’ll add a whole modular ecosystem to these devices with magnetic accessories. There’s no launch date or pricing for any Note 60 device so far. But they should make an announcement soon enough. Keep watching the news for updates.
