Infinix has knocked Rs. 1,000 off the Infinix Hot 9 Play and the Infinix S5 Pro. The Hot 9 Play 2GB + 32GB edition was previously retailing for Rs. 15,999, is now available for Rs. 14,999. The S5 Pro 6GB + 128GB starts from Rs. 26,999 instead of Rs. 27,999.

Infinix Hot 9 Play

The Hot 9 Play is an uncharacteristic budget phone. Unlike most entry-level picks you’ll find on the market, it features a massive 6.82” HD+ screen with a 20.5:9 aspect ratio and a beefy 6,000 mAh battery that powers it. The screen has a notch on top and thin bezels all around it, while the rear-shell presents a capacitive fingerprint reader and an oversized, black camera island.

A single-camera is bound inside the detailed camera housing that uses a 13MP primary lens and an AI lens (which gives the impression of a dual array).

For selfies, there’s an 8MP front camera resting inside the notch. You get up to 2GB of RAM and 32GB of ROM (expandable with a microSD card) and the Go edition of the latest Android 10.

Infinix S5 Pro

Touted as the most budget-friendly pop-up smartphone on the market, the S5 Pro falls into the mid-range bracket with its astonishing 40MP front-camera mounted on a motorized pop-up module, an uninterrupted edge-to-edge 6.53” FHD+ display, and a 48MP triple camera system.

The triple camera has a big f/1.79 aperture combined with a 2MP and a QVGA sensor. The battery has a 4,000 mAh capacity, and it’s recharged with 10W Xcharge. MediaTek’s Helio P35 processor handles number-crunching, in addition to 128GB of ROM and 6GB of memory.

Infinix ships the S5 Pro with XOS 6.0 (built on Android10), and you can choose from Forest Green, Sea Blue, and Violet Flowers. The price of the 4GB variant remains the same while the 6GB + 128GB Variant of the handset now retails at Rs. 26,999 instead of Rs. 27,999.
