Infinix dropped a slew of new budget models yesterday. The official listings for the lineup, featuring the Infinix Smart 6 HD, Infinix Note 12, and Infinix Hot 12, are already up. But Infinix has yet to announce the availability and pricing details.
Infinix Note 12
Note 12 brings a series of upgrades over the last-generation Note. We’re looking at a 7.9mm thick frame that’s flat and soft around the edges. The camera island has a big rectangular accent around the camera cluster. You can pick from blue, bronze, and black colorways.
Infinix is challenging the big dogs Realme and Xiaomi this year, offering a True Color AMOLED screen with the Note 12. The roomy 6.7” panel delivers 1000 nits of flagship-grade brightness, a high contrast ratio, and a wide color gamut.
It’s all powered by the MediaTek Helio G88 chip, 6GB of memory, and a 5000 mAh battery. Infinix has also bumped up the charging speed to 33W. Dual speakers deliver surround sound.
And a six-layer graphene system keeps the Infinix Note 12 cool. Lastly, the rear camera is 50MP, and the front camera has a 16MP sensor.
Infinix Smart 6 HD
The Smart 6 HD is the cheapest of the three options. Its 6.6” notched display features an unremarkable 720P resolution and 500 nits of brightness. The battery capacity is 5000 mAh without fast charging.
We find an 8MP camera on the back. The 5MP front camera supports the 2D face unlock feature. And you get 2GB of memory and 32GB of internal storage. Android 11 Go Edition, designed for low-end hardware, runs on the Smart 6 HD.
Infinix Hot 12
The Infinix Hot 12 is landing in Pakistan in early May. The announcements will be made on May 4, 2022. Pre-orders begin on May 6. And shipping will start on May 9, 2022. Infinix Pakistan has already published the promos. Let’s take a quick look.
MediaTek Helio G85 is the engine inside Infinix Hot 12. It’s a mid-tier processor, powered by a 5000 mAh battery and 18W Fast Charge. The Hot 12 display is a 6.82” 720P 90Hz IPS LCD. Dual speakers produce an immersive stereo field.
The Hot 12 comes in Lucky Green, Racing Black, and Origin Blue colors. We find a 13MP f1.8 camera on the back. You get 6GB of RAM and 128GB of expandable storage. Android 12 powers the phone.
