Infinix has been teasing the GT 50 Pro in Pakistan for a few days now, and a couple of hours ago, they finally gave up the launch date. This gaming phone is supposed to arrive in just two days, likely on Friday the 15th. Because it’s already in the global market, we know the Infinix GT 50 Pro inside and out. This is everything you need to know.
They’ve put a liquid cooling solution on the GT 50 Pro for the first time. And it’s only the second company to try it after ZTE Nubia. Infinix calls this a HydroFlow cooling system. Those tiny pipes with the coolant cover a 6,437mm² area. Any component that might heat up gets a cooling layer.
Apparently, Infinix GT 50 Pro’s cooling chamber is the largest one yet (7700mm²), and it will work together with the HydroFlow liquid cooling to exhaust all the heat. GT MagCharge Cooler 2.0 is also a must-have for GT 50 Pro users.
You can use Wireless Bypass Charging on this phone by slapping on the GT MagCharge Cooler 2.0. The accessory will use 12W for TEC cooling. And it will do 15W wireless charging at the same time. Infinix new GT mobile doesn’t have built-in magnets, so you have to slap on the magnetic case for this accessory to work.
They intend to cool the Dimensity 8400 Ultimate chipset with all these elaborate cooling solutions. The temperature will definitely be tamed under full load on the GT 50 Pro. This is a semi-flagship chip, 3.25 GHz clock with an all-power-core design. The gaming side is taken care of by the Mali-G720 MC7.
Infinix GT 50 Pro has a 144Hz 6.78” flat AMOLED and 1600nits HBM brightness. The resolution is 1.5K or 1208 x 2644 pixels. This newcomer has two battery variants, but Infinix will probably launch the bigger version, which is 6500mAh with 45W charging.
The TEC cooler has half the input, but the phone officially supports 30W wireless charging. There are dual speakers, Dolby-tuned for spatial audio. It’s a gaming phone, so you get shoulder triggers on the frame. They can also be customized to do things outside the games.
N1 network chip and WiFi 6 support might be a big boon to latency. A 50MP main shooter has been installed on the back next to an 8MP Ultrawide. The selfie snapper is 13MP. The GT 50 Pro starts at Android 16 with 3 years of OS Updates. The only thing that’s hidden is the phone’s official price in Pakistan. We’ll update you on that once they’ve launched the device.
