The X9 devices from Honor have had curved displays so far, but the X9d brings a flat OLED panel. That is more era-appropriate. This is still one of the most durable phones they’ve made, so it fits the category. We will soon have the Honor X9d in Pakistan. And they’ve shared the newcomer’s schedule through a press release.
Pre-bookings for this handset will begin midway through this month, on January 17th. The first sale kicks off near the end of January on the 26th. They’ve obviously kept the pricing and configurations secret for later. The phone has been available globally ever since September 2025, so its specs aren’t exactly hidden.
Honor X9d’s battery is the center of its whole design. They’ve stuffed an 8300mAh pack inside Honor's latest 5G mobile newcomer with 66W as its charging backup. It’s one of those devices that are hitting 15 hours and above on continuous screen usage tests.
The screen is a Flat OLED with a 120Hz refresh rate. This is Honor, so you are getting full eye protection with BlueLight safety and 3840Hz PWM dimming. A 6000 nits is the local peak brightness, but you’ll see as high as 1800 nits on HBM mode. This is a 6.79” screen, by the way, with 1.5K resolution.
SGS officially graded this device 5-star drop-resistant. It’s designed in a way that it can’t break even from a 2.5m high drop. Water can’t enter the Honor X9d at up to 6m depth. That’s due to the IP68/IP69K rating. Even the pressurized high-temperature water jets can’t damage this newcomer in theory.
The durability is above average, but what about its performance? Sadly, it’s a bit behind the competition in that area. They’ve used a Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 chip on it with a 2.3GHz clock speed. Again, it’s a September release, so it only has the Android 15 Magic OS 9 by default.
From what we can tell, the rear Main camera is 108MP, and a 5MP extra lens takes ultrawide photos. That selfie shooter is 16MP on the front. There are also two speakers here, and up to WiFi 6 connectivity. The fingerprint ID is a standard optical reader under the screen. They’ll soon reveal the Honor X9d cost in Pakistan.
