Honor 600 Lite was released a few weeks ago, and the Honor X80i could be its carbon copy. At least that’s what it looks like on the surface. A Chinese leaker just posted details about this device on Weibo with a render and a live image. That leak was verified by another credible source within minutes. So we now have a solid lead on its specifications.

Chinese phone makers are cranking up the peak local brightness on their devices. Honor X70i had a 3500nits peak limit, which is already insane on its own. But now the leaker Experience More predicts an even higher number for the Honor X80i: 6500nits local peak.
The screen should be a 6.6” flat OLED, and its resolution will be sharper this time at 1.5K. Honor's latest flagship mobile will probably push those pixels at a 120Hz rate again. Again, these numbers are exactly the same as the Honor 600 Lite. It must also have a 3840Hz PWM dimming if the rest is identical.

It should go without saying that X80i will run Android 16 by default or the Magic OS 10 UI. Those leaks confirm a 7.34mm thick build and a metal frame for this newcomer. The weight could be 185 g. The set of images also posted something from TENAA.

The certification file had a 6800mAh figure for true-rated battery capacity. They’ll surely round it up to 7000mAh (typical), just as the leakers confirmed in the Weibo posts. Panda is Bald said 45W charging speed is a possibility for this Honor X80i.

We hear conflicting chipset names from both sources. We believe the Chinese and international markets use different platforms. Dimensity 7050 for China, which is the chip Honor used last time on the X70i. And then there’s a Dimensity 7100. That’s for the rest of the globe.
There’s also a camera divide. Experience More told the readers that a 108MP camera is used for the overseas version. But only a 50MP camera will drop on the Chinese X80i. It seems an AI shortcut trigger on a Metal frame and screen-laced fingerprint is also coming. Keep watching the news for updates.
