The first handset to launch with a Dimensity 6500 is the Honor X80i. They just debuted the device in China. MediaTek never took the wraps off its new SoC. But the official spec sheet for the Honor X80i covers the essentials. This is everything we found about the chipset and the phone itself.

Dimensity 6500 comes after the D6400 from last year. The boost clock speed is now 2.6 GHz (dual Cortex A76 cores). There are six additional 2 GHz efficiency cores (Cortex A55). It’s not quite at the level of Dimensity 7300 yet, because the GPU is still Mali G57 MC2.
The screen has that pill cutout we usually see on HONOR phones. There are very thin bezels all around, and they are uniform as well. This is a flagship 6.6” AMOLED at a 120Hz refresh rate. The resolution is 1.5K, and the brightness goes all the way up to 6,500 nits (local peak value).

Honor's latest X mobile has a metal build. And it’s officially rated for IP66 water resistance. This newcomer has at least 8GB of RAM. But this can be upgraded to 12GB. Of course, you’ll have to pay extra for it. The storage choices are either 128GB or 512GB.
The pill housing on the screen is for an 8MP selfie shooter. The back camera island is given a Ring LED next to a 50MP main camera. They weren’t specific about the second lens you see on the deco. It could be a depth mapper. Android 16 runs the software.

It’s the MagicOS 10 with built-in Honor AI suite. Honor X80i plugs all the hardware into a 7000mAh battery. 22 hours of video playback is being advertised with a single charge. A 45W adapter will help with the refills. They also tested the battery for at least 6 years of longevity.
By the way, this newcomer has precise GPS tracking. There’s built-in NFC, and the Audio scales up to 300%. The 8/128GB trim of the Honor X80i is priced well within reason: CNY 1,999 (~PKR 80,000). But the price goes way up for the 12/512GB option at CNY 2,799 (~PKR 113,000).
