The first teaser for the Honor X80 Pro Max appeared today, and it took us by surprise. The phone has an 11,000mAh battery; we know that much already. But they are going for another record with the X80 Pro Max. This is everything we have on this newcomer so far.
It’s a boastful teaser of how the Honor X series now has 130 million users worldwide. They drop the title Honor X80 Pro Max at the bottom of the poster. Pretty lacking for a teaser, but at least we have official confirmation that the device is really coming.
There was a leak earlier that exposed some of its specs. That’s how we know that Honor may be shoving an insane 11,000mAh cell in the phone’s chassis. They do have a few phones in the 10,000mAh range, but we’ve never seen a battery that big in any of their devices.
There’s more news. The same leaker who gave us the details before has now found some new information about the Honor latest X mobile just as they started preparing for launch. Apparently, the peak brightness on this handset is an eye-searing 10,000 nits.
It may be the first consumer phone to hit the unbelievable five-figure brightness. Digital Chat Station is usually accurate with predictions. We won’t dare question his credibility with his track record, but we definitely need more sources to verify the claim.
With the number like this, who knows, the company might even post some boastful teasers about the battery and the brightness one of these days. Anyway, the rest of the specs are quite normal. This newcomer has a flat AMOLED.
The leaker has put a screenshot of the phone’s About section in his post. There’s a 6.8” 1.5K resolution panel here. It definitely has that 11,000mAh battery and the new Snapdragon 6 Gen 5 onboard. Honor X80 Pro Max also has a 50MP main camera. Android 16 at first boot and 256GB storage (8GB RAM) were also spotted in the screenshot.
