Honor X7e Plus 5G was certified not long ago, and today, it has officially launched with a bigger battery than its 4G sibling. They’ve put a huge screen on it, and the design is also fresh. Qatar is the first global market where it debuted. This is everything we know about the device.
6.87” LCD is used on the phone, but it’s a TFT panel. HD+ 720p is the max resolution on that screen, and pixels are pushed at a 120Hz rate. Honor X7e Plus 5G does have 1020 nits of high brightness and stuff like PWM Dimming for maximum eye comfort.
The X7e phones have been coming with dedicated AI keys. This one has it too. Honor new budget model has a fingerprint reader on the side just under the volume rocker, and the extra key to the left is your OneTap AI shortcut that can pull up AI Memory or Circle to Search. This seems to be a customizable button.
Anyway, what’s running the phone has a decent CPU, but gaming performance will absolutely suffer with its Adreno 613. Honor X7e Plus 5G is built around a Snapdragon 4 Gen 4, which is new to the game. Android 16 Magic OS 10 gives this newcomer its home UI.
You get 8GB RAM and 256GB storage with it, on one of the memory options. The sound comes from two speakers. And the volume gets pretty loud with a 400% boost. It’s not a premium or a rugged phone, but it’s built like a tank with an IP69K rating, and SGS tested it for crush and drop resistance.
Thickness is 8.3mm, but the X7e Plus 5G makes the weight and size count with a huge 8100mAh battery. 45W SuperCharge adapter will help with the refills, and the battery seems to have operating ranges between -30°C and 50°C.
The bad news is that the Honor X7e 4G and X7e Plus 5G use the same 50MP camera, no second sensor, and a very basic 5MP selfie. There are only two trims for this newcomer, and the very base model has 6GB RAM and 128GB storage at QAR 999 (~PKR 76,000).
