Honor has just dropped its latest smartphone, the Honor X50i+, in China. It's making waves in tech media with significant improvements over its predecessor, the Honor X50. Packed with enhanced features, this newcomer is ready to change the mid-range smartphone experience forever.

Starting with the display, the Honor X50i+ boasts an impressive AMOLED screen with FHD+ resolution, ensuring a high-contrast and sharp visual experience. While the refresh rate takes a dip to 90Hz from its predecessor's 120Hz, the AMOLED upgrade is a welcome addition.

When it comes to photography, the Honor X50i+ doesn't disappoint. The front houses an 8MP selfie shooter within an elegant oval cutout, while the back steals the spotlight with a powerful 108MP primary sensor, accompanied by a 2MP depth sensor. Instead of the tried and tested designs, the distinctive circular island on the X50i Plus’ rear makes it unique.

Under the hood, the Honor X50i+ is equipped with the Dimensity 6080 chipset, endowing it with a marked performance boost (compared to its predecessor). Paired with a generous 12GB of RAM and storage options ranging from 256GB to 512GB, this Honor flagship new model has a responsive user experience.

The handset’s MagicOS 7.2 x Android 13 combines an intuitive interface with the latest Android features. The device houses a 4500mAh battery that supports 33W fast charging. Another exciting bit about the device is its weight at a mere 166 grams. It is one of the lightest mid-range smartphones in the world.

With its sleek design, upgraded features, and competitive price, the Honor X50i Plus starts at CNY1599 (approximately US$219 or PKR 62,000). To make the device versatile, the company offers four color variants out of the box: Powder Gold, sparkling Light Blue, plain Black, and Green.
