Honor has finally unveiled its long-awaited budget offering, the Honor X5 Plus. Building on the success of its predecessor, the X5, the handset promises improved specifications and affordability. Honor has listed the Honor X5 Plus on its global website, revealing a comprehensive set of features.

At first glance, the Honor X5 Plus exudes simplicity and functionality, featuring a flat back design housing a dual camera setup. The phone boasts a 6.56-inch display with a 90Hz refresh rate, HD+ resolution, and an aspect ratio of 20:15:0.

What sets this display apart is its Dynamic Dimming technology, which mimics natural light changes to reduce eye fatigue — a thoughtful feature for extended usage. The fact that it exists on an entry-level Smartphone says a lot about the company's commitment to its user base.

Under the hood, the Honor Budget's latest mobile draws power from the MediaTek Helio G36 octa-core chipset, ensuring smooth performance and efficient multitasking. Photography enthusiasts will appreciate its 50 MP primary camera (f/1.8) and an additional depth sensor (f/2.4). The front-facing 5MP selfie camera (f/2.2) will deliver crisp and vibrant self-portraits.

Equipped with a robust 5200mAh battery, the Honor X5 Plus promises extended usage on a single charge. Although the device supports a meager 10W charging speed, its true potential lies in its longevity. With the latest Android 13 x MagicOS 7.1 skin, the X5 Plus bags a modern and customizable UI.

The Honor X5 Plus will be available in Midnight Black and Cyan Lake color options, catering to different style preferences. While specific pricing and availability details are yet to officialize, the Honor X5 Plus is poised to retail at a super-affordable price.
