The 8000mAh Honor Power is not a one-off. They plan to update the lineup with a new device. There’s apparently an Honor Power 2 in the making, and if the battery didn’t feel big enough last time, this one takes it to a whole new level. The rumor mill is constantly following this device through its development. Here’s what the latest report tells us.

This leak is from Digital Chat Station, so we know it’s a credible one. From what the tipster reveals, the handset has a codename “Saber.” The news media is calling it the Honor Power 2. This one seems to use a 6.79” flat OLED screen. It’s LTPS with 1.5K resolution, which means it’s way more efficient than normal OLEDs.
The Dimensity 8500 chip is a real possibility for the Honor Power 2. The original Power handset only had a Snapdragon 7 Gen 3, so you can count this as a huge upgrade. This isn’t all that’s being updated. Let’s talk about the battery, because that’s what Honor Power 2 is all about.

The leaks have pegged the Honor's new flagship mobile’s battery at 10,000mAh, which is insane on its own. DCS revealed the exact capacity of that battery. It’s actually 10,080mAh. The leaker didn’t comment on the nature of this power pack, but we are assuming it’s Si/C.

They might also wire the battery to an 80W fast charging kit, which is a bit faster than last time, and the phone can definitely put it to good use. No wireless charging support is expected on Honor Power 2, in case you were wondering.
The camera setup is plain and simple: 50MP on the back and 16MP on the front. The leaker didn’t say if there is more than one sensor on the rear. They will obviously ship this newcomer with the fresh Android 16 install and the Magic OS 10 skin.
