Honor has silently rolled out its latest wallet-friendly smartphone, the Honor 90 Smart, in France. Positioned as the fifth device in the Honor 90 series, it joins the ranks of the Honor 90, 90 Lite, 90 Pro, and 90 GT. Let's delve into the specifications of this new offering.

At the surface level, the Honor 90 Smart features a sizable 6.8-inch TFT display with a standard 60Hz refresh rate and a Full HD resolution of 2412×1080 pixels, offering 850 nits of brightness for decent outdoor visibility. Unlike cheaper displays, the Honor 90 Smart maintains a punch-hole cutout for its selfie camera.

In terms of design, the phone boasts a gradient matte finish on the back, complemented by a shiny finish around the camera area. It sports two circular cutouts housing three cameras and an LED flash. It’s going official in Emerald Green and Midnight Black color options.

Under the screen, the Honor 90 Smart draws power from the MediaTek Dimensity 6020 processor, paired with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. The Honor budget new model runs on Magic OS 7.2 out of the box, an Android 13 operating system, sprinkled with some Honor-exclusive features.

Keeping the device running is a big 5330mAh battery with support for 35W fast charging. Notably, it retains the classic 3.5mm headphone jack and, on the edge, a side-mounted fingerprint scanner for security.

In the camera department, the Honor 90 Smart boasts a premium camera setup featuring a 108MP primary lens, assisted by a 2MP macro lens and a 2MP depth sensor. For selfies and video calls, there's an 8MP front-facing camera.

The Honor 90 Smart has officially started its retail journey in France at approximately €249.90 (~PKR 75,000). People can choose from two color options: Black and Green. There are no availability details for other regions yet.
