Honor 90 and Honor 90 Pro Full Feature-roundup Emerges in a Last-minute Leak

The hardware roster for Honor 90 and Honor 90 Pro emerges last minute. The duo is inching closer to launch fast, as confirmed officially by their marketing team. Slated for release in China on May 29th, the devices intend to bring luxury design, bleeding-edge specs, and supreme cameras.  


Digital Chat Station took to Weibo and leaked the specifications of both handsets in a post. Per his leak, the upcoming Honor 90 features a generous 6.7-inch OLED screen with a single punch-hole design positioned at the center.

The display will have gentle curves on all four sides, enhancing its aesthetic appeal. Its resolution will peak at 1.5K+ while supporting an impressive refresh rate of 120Hz. Furthermore, the display will incorporate an ultra-high 3840Hz PWM dimming technology for a comfortable viewing experience.


Honor 90 Pro will encapsulate a larger 6.78-inch display mounted with a capsule notch. The Honor 5G new model will sport an identical resolution and refresh rate (1.5k+ and 120Hz). PWM dimming levels will also remain the same. 


Honor 90 and 90 Pro also maintain the distinction in terms of performance. According to DCS, the standard variant carries Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 while the Pro variant boasts, SnapDragon 8 Plus Gen 1, with boost clocks at 3.0GHz. The former supports 66W input charging, while the latter supports faster 90W input.


As for the cameras on Honor 90, it uses a 50MP front-facing single camera. Meanwhile, it heralds a powerful triple camera setup on the back, headlined by an impressive 200-megapixel  Samsung HP3 sensor with a wide f/1.9 aperture. 

Honor 90 Pro features dual 50MP sensors on the front, a 32MP 2.5x telephoto shooter on the back, a 200MP Smasung HP3 primary lens, and an unnamed assistive sensor. The cameras on both handsets nest a ring LED flash for photography in low light.
