Galaxy S26 Edge will have a completely new look next year. We recently found a dummy mold exposing a huge camera island on the phone. The metal slab was barebones with no texture or colors. However, a new report from Onleaks x Android Headlines shows exactly how the Galaxy S26 Edge looks in White finish.
The publication shared multiple renders to give fans an early look at the S26 Edge’s horizontal camera bar. It’s obvious where the inspiration comes from. Apple plans to use the same design on the iPhone 17 Pro lineup, which, by the way, is launching on September 9th, so be ready.
The Cupertino giant had the right idea to extrude the upper section of the device to make room for bulky camera components. Samsung wants to double down on that idea, to make the Galaxy S26 Edge even slimmer than before.
IceUniverse believes that the empty area next to the camera will contain a bulk of the hardware on the S25 Edge, leaving plenty of space for the battery in the lower half. The leaker posted on X, saying the Edge might shrink to 5.5mm thickness while upgrading the battery to 4200mAh.
Of course, this is merely a speculation at this point. But, knowing Samsung, the blank area next to the dual lens system must have some clever innovation behind it. The flat display shown in the renders has almost non-existent bezels. We see a small camera cutout on the header of the Samsung Galaxy Edge new model, and borders are uniform on all four sides.
The exact specs for this device are a total mystery, but the S26 Edge may share a few components with the current Slim model. The S25 Edge is 5.85mm thin and brings a 3900mAh battery with 25W charging. It has an LTPO 120Hz AMOLED 6.7” panel up front at WQHD+ resolution.
Its main camera has a 200MP HP2 outsole with a 1/1.3” sensor size. This is the same module they used on the Z Fold 7. The second lens on the Galaxy S25 Edge is an Ultrawide 12MP shooter. We may see a few similarities between the old and new models. Keep watching the news for further leaks and reports on the subject.
