Samsung has been pushing Android 16 x One UI 8 Beta to its A series devices lately. Galaxy A35 received it at the beginning of this month. The test firmware is rapidly progressing toward a stable release. The company just announced a second One UI 8 Beta for the Galaxy A35 today, and here’s what it offers.

The second Beta is currently roaming in one of the Asian countries, and it has been identified with the code “A356EXXU5ZYI6.” It builds on the existing One UI 8 Beta 1 firmware with minor bug fixes, so the package is light. The whole update is bundled into a 322MB download.

The update was first spotted by Tarun Vats, who is a famed leaker. He took a screenshot of the update’s changelog and posted the details online for everyone to see. This second beta update has UI and bug fixes, all based on user feedback from the older version.

The changelog exposed several details. This new update has the September 2025 patch, which fixes several weak points in the firmware. This update removes 25 vulnerabilities in the One UI of Samsung latest A model that could lead to potential data leaks and improper device access.

It also patches two critical vulnerabilities in the core Android system. The main purpose of this beta rollout is to fix the bugs in the current One UI 8 firmware for Galaxy A35, and here are the changes they made to the OS.

We have at least five bugs that were officially addressed in the changelog. The update fixes an issue with VDIS not functioning on “Camera Front Photo > Quick Take.” They fixed ANR when selecting Sticker settings in Photo Editor. Fixed an issue where Notes added from the Call Ending screen are not displayed in the Recent Log.

Predictive texts now work in the password fields, and the One UI 8 Beta 2 fixed CP crashes on the Galaxy A35. The changelog showed up with a link that goes deep into the details. Of course, this Beta is locked to specific regions and Samsung members only. So it can’t be accessed by everyone. But this is a step toward a stable Android 16 release for the A35 in the near future.
