The Vivo V23 series dropped in Pakistan when the Vivo V23e hit store shelves recently. And Vivo Pakistan is soon following up on it with the baseline Vivo V23 5G. No details are officially out yet, but we have the launch timeline, specs, and pricing to report. Here’s the scoop.

Vivo V23 5G is slated for debut in Pakistan on February 14. And it’ll be available the day after. Babar Azam, Shirt 56, will be the brand ambassador for the V23 5G. It offers quite a few upgrades in the design and photography departments. But not without a significant bump in the price. The V23 5G starts from Rs. 89,999, as per trusted inside sources.

Let’s start with what has always been the big highlight of the Vivo V-series — portrait photography. Vivo V23 5G has a wide notch containing a dual-camera system: 50MP wide-angle shooter and 105° wide-angle lens for group selfies. Two front-facing LED flashes round off this entire setup.

The sensor inside the primary selfie camera is custom-designed to deliver maximum clarity and detail. The LED flashes can adjust tones between warm, neutral, and cold to capture the mood of your choice. AI Extreme Night mode on Vivo flagship new model produces crisp, bright shots in low light. Plus, features like double exposure, portrait styles, light filters, 4K video complete the versatile selfie experience.

We find a 64MP wide-angle, 8MP ultra-wide-angle, and a low-res macro shooter on the back. It’s a capable system featuring a dedicated night mode, but there’s nothing to write home about.

The design, on the other hand, is trendy and polished. The rails have a sharp, flat, and metallic character. The AG Glass casing comes in Sunshine Gold and Stardust Black finishes. But the most striking feature here is the color-changing gimmick. The Gold V23 5G absorbs sunshine or UV light and shifts to sea green. At 7.39mm, the phone is as slim as it gets.

Inside the V23 5G, the Dimensity 920 5G and a 4200 mAh battery keep everything running. Android 12, 44W FlashCharge, 12GB (+4GB Extended) of RAM memory, and 256GB storage cover the rest of the performance-related specs. Lastly, the screen is a 6.44” 1080P, 90Hz OLED panel.
