Exclusive: Nothing Phone (2) Set to Debut in Pakistan Next Week

“Nothing” is a very famous design-forward smartphone company based in the UK with OnePlus’ former CEO, Carl Pei, as its figurehead. According to our sources, Nothing is about to enter the Pakistani market for the first time with Nothing Phone (2) leading the charge, and it’s all expected in the next few days.

Nothing Phone (2) will debut next week in Pakistan, during an official launch event in Islamabad. This will be Nothing’s first official venture in our market, so there is a lot of excitement around it. Here's everything you need to know about the device.

This handset was released in 2023 with a Glyph Interface and a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC. It’s a flagship device from the company and an immensely improved second-gen product after the Phone (1). There’s much to like here, especially if we focus on the design.

Nothing, as we know it, is quite famous for its transparent accessories and exposed backplate designs for its phones. Of course, it’s also known as the first company to provide a Glyph Interface on a smartphone, which is a collection of 11 LED strips used for Notifications and camera fill lights. Everything from exposed screws to video recording indicators on the back is intentional, innovative, and coherent.

Nothing wanted to build a product that’s iconic and recognizable from far away, and the Phone (2) achieved it to perfection. Even though the company has already released the Nothing Phone 3a series this year, the Phone (2) could generate some reliable sales in Pakistan.

About its specs, this phone has an LTPO OLED panel with a 1-120Hz refresh rate and a 6.7” display. It even has 1600 nits brightness, which was a gold standard back in 2023. The OLED is 1080p with Gorilla Glass 5. With all its design choices and an exposed build, the Nothing Phone (2) still secures an IP54 rating.

It started with Android 13 Nothing OS 2, but it’s upgradeable to A15 and Nothing OS 3. The Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 is still a beast of an SoC, even in 2025. The two cameras on the back are both 50 MP sensors, one with the Main OIS lens and the second with an Ultrawide unit. That selfie shooter on the front is 32MP.

There’s also a stereo speaker and WiFi 6 with an optical fingerprint reader under the screen. Phone 2 has a 15W wireless input and up to 45W wired charging, which refills its 4700mAh battery from 1-100% in 55 minutes. It should come out in Dark Grey and White Colors. No details have been revealed about its price yet, but we’ll be able to report Nothing Phone 2’s price on the day of launch, April 22nd. Until then, stay tuned and wait for a full review.
