Apple’s first folding device won’t be named iPhone Fold. In fact, they plan on calling it the “iPhone Ultra.” This development came just a few days ago from Digital Chat Station. We’ve now come across a leaked video that showed the Ultra’s design and gave up a few more necessary details.

The design craftsmanship clearly shows the direction Apple has taken with the iPhone Fold or Ultra. To be honest, we are still not sold on the new name for this handset, so you’ll hear the name “iPhone Fold” every once in a while. Anyway, they’ve copied the original Google Pixel Fold’s look.
It’s a wide Fold and shorter in length than the Galaxy Z Fold 7. Now that the higher quality renders are out, we have a clearer picture of what the phone actually looks like. The dummy photos that leaked previously did not do the iPhone Fold justice.

It has an industrial metal body and a camera deco that spans horizontally with two lenses. There’s a corner punch hole in the folding display, something the original Oppo Find N Fold did back in the day. By the way, that device had a similar shape and size, and for more updates on the Apple iPhone rate list, visit our website.

These renders were disseminated by Jon Prosser of Fpt. And he had more than just a video of the iPhone Ultra. He knows the exact thickness of this phone. Apparently, this newcomer is 4.5mm thick (unfolded), which is pretty close to the Galaxy Z Fold 7 at 4.2mm (unfolded).

The folded thickness of this iPhone is actually 9.5mm, which is pretty sleek for a double-pane handset. It will probably give other folding phones a run for their money in the battery/power category. Not even the Galaxy Z TriFold stands a chance.
We have heard reports saying the iPhone Fold/Ultra is built around a 5800mAh cell. It’s obviously bigger than the 4400mAh Galaxy Z Fold 7. But it’s also a bit higher than the 5600mAh Galaxy Z TriFold, which, by the way, splits the battery into three pieces. It’s turning out to be a well-designed foldable. Keep watching the news for more updates.
