The ZTE Blade V80 Design has been retailing in the global market for nearly three months. Our sources report that Pakistan might be next on the list for the phone’s debut. It’s an entry-level handset with a design that almost looks like an iPhone 17 Pro.
There’s an accented power button on the right and a red dot on the camera island. The horizontal camera bar mounts three black lenses on one side and the flash on the other end. It’s definitely mimicking the iPhone 17 Pro. But there’s only one camera on the back that actually functions.
Blade V80 Design has a single 50MP main unit on the back for photos and videos of 1080p 30 frames per second. No OIS support is available here, but it does have PD AutoFocus. The selfie camera is 16MP. It’s a new phone with Android 16 running by default.

The chip is new. ZTE's new Budget mobile is built around a Unisoc T7280 SoC, which is a 2.2 GHz platform with eight cores. That’s almost the same clock speed as the Helio G99, but it’s based on a 12nm process node. So it’s not exactly as efficient as MediaTek’s chip.
The newcomer does still have 8GB RAM and 256GB storage. At least the performance won’t be an issue with the V80 Design. The display is not the best out there, but it gets the job done. The resolution, on paper, is less than 1080p, but it’s not the 720p standard either. It’s somewhere in between.

The phone seems to have a 6.75” IPS LCD with 900p (HD+) resolution. Its refresh rate is 120Hz. And the brightness goes all the way up to 1,000 nits, which is still mind-blowing to see on a normal LCD. There’s no protective layer on this screen, so outfitting it with a 3rd party glass protector is a must.
It’s a budget phone, yet it secured an IP64 rating. That makes the Blade V80 Design partially waterproof, safe from splashes and liquid spills. A 5,000 mAh battery can be found within. The official charging backup seems to be 22.5W wired (10W reverse wired). We’ll know the phone’s actual RAM/storage figures and pricing for Pakistan at launch. Keep watching the news for updates.
