It has only been a few days since Redmi Note 12 Catalog became official in Europe. The exciting thing about the European launch was the debut of the Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 4G, an iteration based on the old Redmi Note 12 5G. Building on similar premises, Xiaomi unveiled the Redmi Note 12 Pro 4G yesterday by slightly trimming down the older Note 12 Pro 5G.

To point out the obvious, the new Note 12 Pro variant comes with a 4G-enabled modem, Snapdragon 732G. Equipped with eight premium cores, it boasts 2.3GHz max frequency. Integrated with the SoC is an Adreno 618 unit that handles GPU loads and gaming performance.

Wired to the core is a 5000mAh cell capable of recharging at 67W speed. Identical to the original, Redmi Note 12 Pro 4G has a 6.67-inch panel refreshing at a fast 120Hz refresh rate while capping the resolution at 1080P (FHD+). The screen also sports a punch-hole cutout.

Moving on to its rear-facing camera, the company has decided to use a 108MP primary sensor, a trait from last year’s Note 11 series. The new Xiaomi 4G mobile records 4K videos. Specs for the secondary sensors and the selfie camera remain unknown.

The Note 12 Pro 4G also brings Dolby Atmos and support for a round audio port. Among its most impressive features, the phone includes stereo bottom and front-firing speakers; combined with Dolby atmos, they should offer rich directional audio.

While the phone has been unveiled in Indonesia, its retail will not commence until the beginning of May. Most of its features remain a mystery at this point. However, the ones they have foretold suggest a highly competitive user experience with the phone.
