Xiaomi dropped the long-anticipated Redmi Note 11 series. The lineup features four Note models: Redmi Note 11 Pro 5G, Note 11 Pro, Note 11S, and Note 11. This year, Xiaomi offers a better display, faster charging, and a fresh redesign. Here’s everything you need to know.

Redmi Note 11

The Note 11 is the cheapest of the four Note models. It rocks a trendy flat frame design. The casing comes in Graphite Gray, Pearl White, and Star Blue finishes. It’s rated IP53 against dust and water ingress. Plus, you get a 3.5mm audio jack, stereo speakers, an instant side thumbprint reader, and a slot for storage expansion.

The display is a 6.43” AMOLED panel, peaking at 1080P in resolution and 90Hz in refresh rate. It’s protected with Gorilla Glass 3 and houses the front camera inside a hole punch. Redmi Note 11 screen is also brighter than ever, delivering 1000 nits of brightness.

Inside the phone, Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 powers everything. It’s a modern 4G chip built on a 6nm process. The battery is a 5000 mAh cell. And the 33W charging standard promises a full top-up in just 60 minutes. MIUI 13 x Android 11 runs on the Redmi Note 11. 4GB/6GB of RAM and 64GB/128GB of UFS 2.2 storage round off the setup.

Lastly, the camera system consists of four lenses — 50MP f/1.8 wide, 8MP ultra-wide, and two 2MP shooters. In addition, we find a 13MP sensor behind the selfie shooter. Redmi Note 11 starts from $179 (~ Rs. 31,800.)

Redmi Note 11S

The Note 11S is a slightly higher-end version of the baseline Note 11. Instead of Qualcomm silicon, the Note 11S features the MediaTek Helio G96. And in addition to the storage configurations offered with the Note 11, the Note 11S also comes in an 8GB+128GB option. The battery, OS, and color specs are shared with the Note 11.

The same goes for the stereo speakers, IP53 rating, and display features. Not to mention the camera system. But the primary lens has a 108MP sensor behind it.

The Redmi Note 11S comes in Graphite Gray, Pearl White, and Twilight Blue finishes. And it starts from $249 (~ Rs. 44,300.)

Redmi Note 11 Pro & 11 Pro 5G

The Note 11 Pro and Note 11 Pro 5G are identical except for their chipsets. The 4G edition has the MediaTek Helio G96 at its heart. And the Note 11 Pro 5G uses Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 5G. Although their SoCs are the only salient differences between the two models, the Note 11 Pro LTE has an extra 2MP portrait camera.

Other specs are shared between the two phones. We’re looking at a glass sandwich casing, protected with Gorilla Glass 5 on the front. Xiaomi also secured an IP53 rating for the Pro phones. The duo sports Graphite Gray and Polar White shades. But the 4G version also comes in exclusive Star Blue, while the 5G variant is offered in Atlantic Blue.

We’re looking at a 6.67” 1080P SuperAMOLED panel. It peaks at an eye-searing 1200 nits in brightness and a 120Hz refresh rate. Also, HDR10+ content is supported. Everything is powered by a 5000 mAh battery and 67W flash charging.

You can pick from 6GB+64GB, 6GB+128GB, and 8GB+128GB variants. Stereo speakers, a microSD card slot, and a side thumbprint reader are also onboard.

Lastly, the camera cluster adopts 108 MP f/1.9 wide, 8MP ultra-wide, and 2MP macro shooters. The front camera is a 16MP shooter. The Note 11 Pro 4G is priced at $299 (~ Rs. 53,100,) and the Note 11 Pro 5G costs $329 (~ Rs. 58,500.)
