The digital buzz around the company’s next big thing, the Xiaomi Redmi 13C, is gaining momentum. Last week, tantalizing renders teased the gadget’s profile while showcasing the smartphone's sleek design palette. Fast-forward to a few days later, and the Redmi 13C seems to be making surprise appearances across online platforms, notably in the MIUI codebase.

Courtesy of Xiaomiui's community and the keen-eyed team from MySmartPrice, the Redmi 13C's presence was detected in the IMEI database, although the name was conspicuously absent. The details which were present are as follows.

The insider knowledge has slipped out, revealing that there will be three distinct variations of the product, each tailored to specific markets: the Chinese market model 23124RN87C, global model 23124RN87G, and Indian launch model 23124RN87I.

Peeking into MIUI’s coded listing, it's speculated that the Redmi 13C goes by the clandestine codename “air.” It is the phone’s backstage identity. The heart of this Xiaomi budget new model will be a MediaTek processor, brought to life by the MIUI 14 interface, underscoring the Android 13 OS.

Deciphering its model number hints at a December debut, with China taking the lead in its roll-out parade, trailed by international markets. Design-wise, the Redmi 13C flaunts a crisp, flat frame. The front sports a minimalist dewdrop notch, while the rear boasts a three-eyed camera setup.

Speaking of optics, a sharp 50MP sensor headlines the camera assembly, mirroring the design aesthetics of the Xiaomi 13 lineage. And for those intrigued about its colors, the Redmi 13C plans to strut in a trio of shades: classic black, oceanic blue, and light green.
