In December 2022, Redmi 12C made a notable entry into the low-cost smartphone market, leaving a lasting expression among young consumers with its impressive hardware and highly affordable pricing. The brand aims to expand this series further by introducing the standard Xiaomi Redmi 12.

The device has emerged on the IMEI database and, quite recently, on the FCC database hinting at its imminent global launch. How extended the launch will be is yet to unravel. While its geographic reach remains unsolved, we have discovered the phone’s specifications in rumors.

In line with most of Redmi’s entry-level offerings, Redmi 12 will have a mediocre camera setup. The phone’s hardware will draw power from a 5000mAh cell buried inside the chassis with 33W power input (as foretold by the FCC certification listing). Though unconfirmed, the phone likely has Android 13 support right out of the gate.

Apart from these details, nothing sure shot has surfaced yet about the phone’s specifications. The phone has just started popping up in leaks which means it is yet to follow a long string of reports and speculations to unravel its features. For now, we have to stick with Redmi 12C as a reference. The Xiaomi price list is a useful tool to help you make an informed decision about which phone to buy based on your budget.

In visuals, Redmi 12C backs a solid 720x1560 display with a large 6.71-inch diagonal width. The phone has a 4G-enabled Helio G85 SoC and memory options ranging between 3 - 6GB of RAM and 64 - 128GB of expandable storage.

A primary 50MP unit and a secondary AI assistant are its main highlights. The upcoming Redmi handset inherits the 5000mAh cell from its original counterpart. Stay tuned to keep up to date on all the latest developments about the future Redmi 12 device, as it’s sure to make a big splash in the industry shortly.
