Xiaomi Poco F8 Ultra Certified Early by NBTC, Launch May Happen Sooner Than Expected

Xiaomi Poco F7 Ultra was newly added to the line this year, and it has been made perfectly clear by a recent certification that it’s not a one-off thing. Such Ultra phones will continue taking root down the Poco F series, and the device coming up next is the “Poco F8 Ultra.”

The certification we have here is from NBTC, and it clearly marks the Poco F8 Ultra name at the top and a model number right next to it, which is 25102PCBEG. This was filed by Xiaomi itself to get clearance in Thailand, so there’s no reason left to doubt that the phone exists. In fact, the pattern suggests it may be coming early.

You see, the Poco F7 Ultra got official in March, so it’s a reasonable assumption that the F8 Ultra should also launch in the same month next year, in 2026 (F series cycles once per year). The phone shouldn’t debut until six more months. It shouldn’t even appear on the NBTC certification this early.

But the fact is that NBTC has already cleared this Xiaomi new Poco model for launch. You can reach two conclusions in light of that decision. The Poco F8 Ultra could launch early based on the fact pattern.

NBTC doesn’t usually clear any phone six months ahead of its release in the country. So the F8 Ultra could launch earlier than the rest of its siblings. Or it could be a fluke, and NBTC may have cleared this device due to an early filing. Let’s see if the brand starts teasing the F8 Ultra in the next few weeks. That will make things much clearer.

The file doesn’t say much about the F8 Ultra, but there’s plenty of info to be found on the internet. One rumor says it’s just a renamed Redmi K90 Pro, and it’s believable, since the Poco F7 Ultra was also a rebranded Redmi K80 Pro.

There’s also a stronger Redmi K90 Pro Max in the mix this year, and Xiaomi has already started teasing that phone. Could it be that there’s an even higher version than Poco F8 Ultra that may take K90 Pro Max’s place in the global market? We are keen on finding that out. Keep watching the news if you want an update, too.
