Xiaomi Poco F8 Pro Leaked Packaging Suggests Bose Sound & No Boxed Charger

Poco F8 series is coming, and it’s just another Redmi K series spin-off. But everything is above board. It’s the company’s way to deploy those flagship Redmi phones outside China. There’s excitement in the air as leaks talk about an early debut for the Poco F8 Pro and Poco F8 Ultra. Here’s what’s happening.

Poco debuted the F7 Pro and F7 Ultra in March. Their certifications were found one or maybe two months prior to release. Thailand’s NBTC was one of the certifiers that waited right until the end to clear the Poco F7 series. Now, for the Poco F8 and F8 Pro, the tactics have changed, and NBTC has certified these phones early. The launch might happen sooner than you think.

The leak we have today is about the Poco F8 Pro. Its box was apparently found by a tipster on X, and it mentions “Sound by Bose.” That confirms earlier theories. They really shook hands with the speaker company to tune the Audio on its Poco F8 Pro, and presumably, the F8 Ultra.

This also points to the fact that the Xiaomi new Poco mobile is just a Redmi K90 lineup under the hood. Bose sound was also seen on Redmi K90 Pro Max after all. That’s the same case with the Redmi K90, which is supposed to be rebranded as the Poco F8 Pro outside China.

The leaker who originally found the box gave some bad news, though. This is a thin packaging, and there’s no charger here. That said, we can’t be sure if it’s just for the European market or the entire globe. So, there’s still hope that Poco didn’t axe box-packed chargers entirely.

Anyway, since we know what the original K series phones have in the bank, that pretty much fits all the puzzle pieces together for the Poco F8 series. Redmi K90 Pro Max is built around the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chip, and so will the F8 Ultra.

The F8 Pro may use the year-old Snapdragon 8 Elite, since that’s what the Redmi K90 carries. Sadly, the battery sizes aren't similar due to global constraints. The K90 has a 7100mAh battery, but its global F8 Pro counterpart is capped at 6210mAh. The K90 Pro Max goes up to 7560mAh capacity, but the global Poco F8 Ultra drops it to 6500mAh. Let’s wait and see how much the F8 family deviates from its original roots. Keep watching the news.
