Xiaomi introduced the flagship MI 13 series last month in China. New models, Xiaomi 13 and 13 Pro, are now ready for global launch. Multiple reports and certifications have corroborated their international release at the upcoming MWC 2023 event. Here’s everything you need to know.

Xiaomi’s new flagship mobiles appeared on BIS and NBTC databases, indicating imminent arrival in their respective regions. Listings on the former’s website clearly state Xiaomi’s intention to launch both models outside China. There’s little to know about MI 13 and 13 Pro’s launch in the US and European markets.

Thailand’s NBTC confirms global Xiaomi 13 variants with 5G support. As of now, both models are retailing in China. So, their specifications are no mystery. Xiaomi phones outside of China should offer the same specs.

With Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 CPU, Xiaomi 13 Pro offers up to 16GB of fast LPDDR5X RAM and a max of 512GB UFS 4.0 storage. The Pro version of the Xiaomi new 5G model sports a 6.73-inch QHD+ resolution with a 120Hz refresh rate and an AMOLED panel, all energized by a 4820mAh cell.

Moreover, Xiaomi 13 Pro features 50MP + 50MP + 50MP camera configuration at the rear with a 32MP selfie unit upfront and Android 13 x MIUI 14 skin pre-installed. Standard Xiaomi 13 mounts the same Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC at the helm but uses a 4500mAh cell backed by 67W fast charging.

Its memory combos also max out at 12GB-512GB with LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.0 storage. It features a smaller 6.36-inch OLED 120Hz screen with a 32MP selfie camera embedded within it. Xiaomi 13’s starter variant (8+128) costs 3999 yuan or ~PKR 135,000. If you can't wait that long you can always look into its precursor, Xiaomi mobile 12 price start's at Rs. 179,999.
