Xiaomi 13 Design Spilled Ahead of Launch; High-quality Renders show iPhone-like Form Factor

Presumably, two new flagships, Mi 13 and Mi 13 Pro by Xiaomi are about to head out. Following Xiaomi 13 Pro's leaked-out mockups, some high-quality design renders belonging to the non-pro Mi 13 are doing rounds on the internet. Notably, the Chinese phone maker is planning a new approach with its flagship this time.

In collaboration with CompareDials, OnLeaks, the notorious tipster, spilled Xiaomi 13's design way. With its latest flagship, the chain has abandoned the curved display in favor of a flat-edged form factor. Apart from a slightly chamfered backplate, the phone strictly mocks the iPhones 12 through 14.

With its right-angled metallic rim, Vanilla Mi 13 follows the current design trend in the Android industry. Similarities aside, the design feels ultra-premium and outstanding, thanks to its perfectly uniform bezels. For the selfie camera, a center-aligned punch-hole exists on the screen.

While facing down, the upcoming incorporation to the Xiaomi price list flexes a re-engineered camera island. m13 features a Triple lens setup on a squarish protrusion. Antenna bands cover the phone's metallic rim, followed by a speaker grille, mic hole, and volume + power buttons.

The leaked report also bares the successor's Dimensions. It's believed to clock in at 152.8 x 71.5 x 8.3 mm (10.33mm if you count the camera depth). Like the Pro variant, the base Mi 13 also expects the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset.

Former leaks report that Xiaomi 13 will have a 6.36-inch OLED display offering a 1.5K resolution and 120Hz refresh rate; at the same time, Mi 13 Pro plans to carry a 6.7-inch array extending the resolution to 2K while maintaining a 120Hz refresh rate.
